Dear Mr. Gaddy:
At first I thought I was too old and that I really didn't
have the time to be involved in your program. I am happy to say
I couldn't have been more wrong. Your willingness to work
private lessons into my schedule and the careful way you brought
me along has made this a great experience. In the past six
months, I have lost about 40 pounds and my strength, stamina and
energy level have increased way beyond what I thought they would
at this time. If anybody ever tells you that they're too old or
that they cannot fit it into their schedule, feel free to show
them this letter. Maybe they won't make the same mistake of
putting it off as I did.
Thank you for caring

Dear Shihan
It is with great pleasure and honor that I submit to you
thoughts in writing about my Karate training with you and your
wife over the past year. Thirty-two years ago when I first began
my Karate training, my Sensei said "In western society, a humble
man is looked upon as a weak man but not so in the far east".
However, in that dojo, Sensei let black belts with big egos
flourish. I became disillusioned, sick and ultimately quit
Karate. Within two weeks of resuming training last year with
Shihan John Gaddy, I finally found the true spirit of Karate. We
were talking one day about personal histories and found out that
we were both in Passaic, N.J. Shortly thereafter Shihan Gaddy,
who is a 7th degree black belt and renowned World Karate
champion, casually said to me " I am just a servant of God and I
believe that I'm here to help others by teaching Karate".
This statement reflecting genuine humility from a very strong
and good Christian man convinced me that I found the Karate
master I had looking for. Shihan Gaddy took a personal interest
in me as he does with all his students; I am training with the
very best and feel blessed. Him and Debbie (Sempai) Gaddy's
warmth and integrity make our dojo one large family of decent
human beings all pursuing the same goals. Sometimes I think that
Shihan appeared just when I needed help the most like a guardian
angel. Thank you, Shihan and Sempai (and my dojo family) for
being an important part of my life. This may be a bit long for a
paragraph but you know how old professors tend to be long winded

"Training in Karate helps to make you a better person today
than you were yesterday. Through perseverance and deligent study
it develops a strong, healthy body and spirit. When you train
regularly, you find that your confidence and self esteem
continue to grow to new heights. Knowing these benefits from
years of my personal study, my entire family is enrolled in the
program at John Gaddy's Karate including my wife and two
children. It's a great way for the whole family to learn and
grow together!!"

I became a student at John Gaddy's Karate Studio, and I
noticed how dedicated Shihan Gaddy is while teaching a class. He
offers excellent instructions along with good advise on how to
achieve your fitness goals. Classes are very challenging with an
emphasis on technical skills as well as endurance. Shihan Gaddy
motivates his students with his great instructional abilities as
well as his personality. Since I joined John Gaddy's Karate I
enhanced my technical skills, gained confidence and improved my
physical appearance. For achieved success I would like fully to
credit my teacher - Shihan John Gaddy!!!

At age seven I began doing TAE-KWON-DO. At first it was fun,
but when I began realizing belts and stripes were given based on
classes attended and not skill, I decided to quit.
I immediately began looking for a new school. Once I heard
about John Gaddy's Karate Studio LLC, I decided to learn Karate
at the John Gaddy's karate studio. I noticed the difference, and
now I have earned a brown belt that I can be proud of.
